The test setup for eigenfrequencies AcoustiNF serves the measurement and verification of the natural frequencies (resonance frequencies) of solid structures.

In combination with a DMC Code scanner and scales, the detection and the quality control of fabricated constructional elements and components (e. g. forged aluminum) of a series can be carried out easily and in no time.

Furthermore, dynamic elastic properties of cuboid specimens for transversal and longitudinal excitation according to DIN EN 14146 and ASTM C215 can be obtained.

The acoustic camera AcoustiCam^® is an efficient tool for localizing and seperating sound sources in no time.

Simultaneous measurements with a large number of microphones (microphone array) are carried out followed by subsequent processing of the recorded microphone signals through an analysis software.

To visualize the sound situation – as in the case of applying an infrared camera – a photograph of the test object is laid underneasth the localization result.

Muffler software AcoustiCalc^® Silencer

The muffler software AcoustiCalc^{® Silencer} is a powerful tool for the acoustic design of single elements and complex systems of silencers and mufflers by simulating the insertion loss and the transmission loss.

The working principle of the simulation software for silencers is based on the analytical description of the specific elements of ducts and mufflers as quadrupoles according to linear network theory. All models correspond to the current state of the art and were additionally optimized by us by means of numerical simulations.

By concatenation of the single elements, the acoustic behavior of arbitrary and complete systems of mufflers can be calculated easily and fast with respect to defined operational conditions.

Sound absorption meter AcoustiAdrienne

The sound absorption meter AcoustiAdrienne serves the nondestructive measurement of the sound absorption, sound reflection, sound insulation and the sound diffraction of a noise barrier on the basis of the Adrienne method described in DIN EN 1793-4 and DIN EN 16272-4, DIN EN 1793-5 and DIN EN 16272-5 as well as DIN EN 1793-6 and DIN EN 16272-6.

By means of an adapter, the sound absorption coefficient of a road surface according to DIN ISO 13472-1 in situ as well as the sound absorption coefficient of a noise barrier according to DIN CEN/TS 1793-5 and DIN CEN/TS 16272-5 can be determined nondestructively.

On the basis of the measuring results, the sound reflexion of noise barriers can be rated according to ZTV Lsw 22 (for non-reverberant situations). Furthermore, the rated sound absorption coefficient according to DIN EN ISO 11654 of a wall absorber or ceiling absorber being installed in a room can be estimated as well.
