Noise Emission and Noise Reduction at Air to Water Heat Pumps
On behalf of the Federal Office for Environment, currently, the Gesellschaft für Akustikforschung Dresden mbH examins methods for noise reduction of air to water heat pumps (LWWP) used for cooling, ventilation and heating of facilities. For this purpose, the Gesellschaft für Akustikforschung Dresden mbH develops a practical method to measure and to evaluate the noise emission of air to water heat pumps in situ. Furthermore, a description of applicable noise protection systems is given. Additionally, a data collection consisting of relevant power and noise parameters of air to water heat pumps is provided.
