Measurement of structure-borne sound and eigenfrequencies
To measure the vibration behavior of machines and other structures, among other things, the company offers the following services:
- measurement of vibration properties (operational vibration analysis) as well as propagation of structure-borne sound with 1D and 3D acceleration sensors and impedance sensors
- investigation of properties of machinery structures by application of experimental modal analysis (EMA) and operational modal analysis (OMA) respectively
- structural analysis of machines, devices and structural elements by application of transfer path analysis (TPA)
Modeling and optimization of vibration behavior and eigenfrequencies
We also support you to optimize the vibration behavior and the eigenfrequencies of machinery structures, especially with minimizing the propagation of structure-borne sound and the coefficient of sound emission as well as the vibration isolation of machines:
- numerical modeling of the vibrational behaviour of structures (determination of eigenfrequencies) by application of finite element method (FEM)
- design and optimization of structures with coatings and restrained intermediate layers for damping of structure-borne sound
- design of structure-borne sound isolation/ vibration isolation by means of mass-spring-system
