Acoustic camera for new degree course

The Gesellschaft für Akustikforschung Dresden mbH and SINUS Messtechnik GmbH have assigned an acoustic camera to the chair for engineering mechanics and acoustics. The measuring system AcoustiCam^® shall enrich the future education of students of the degree course “Media- and Acoustical Engeering”. This study path was founded just in September 2013 and is unique throughout Germany. At various applications, e.g. automotive research, the students learn how to use the acoustic camera to localize and separate sound sources in no time.
