New sound measuring booth

The Gesellschaft für Akustikforschung Dresden mbH expanded its measuring laboratory in July 2024 with a new sound measuring booth.

Since then, the booth has been available in particular for the standard-compliant measurement of sound power and the investigation of sound radiation from machines and devices as well as for measuring the acoustic effectiveness of methods for noise control such as silencers, acoustic enclosures and vibration isolators.
